This 1940s vintage grain sack material is made of twill - weaved hemp. It has a width of 55 cm and is sold by the meter. It's an old linen material that has never been used. Due to its age, it might have some marks. According to our dealer, it can be washed at 40C and ironed when slightly wet to remove the marks. We're selling it in an old - new condition as we haven't tried the cleaning method.
This vintage linen/hemp grain sack material can be used for various DIY projects like making tote bags, table runners, or wall hangings. When using it, be gentle as it's an old material. For maintenance, if you notice marks on it, you can try washing it at 40C. While the material is still a bit wet, you can iron it, which should remove the marks. However, keep in mind that since we haven't tested this method ourselves, test a small, hidden area first. Store it in a dry and cool place to prevent any new marks or damage.
