This is an old linen grainsack from the 1940s that has never been used. It measures 104 cm in length and 49 cm in width. It's made of twill - weaved hemp. Due to its age, it might have some marks. According to our dealer, it can be washed at 40C and ironed when slightly wet to remove the marks. We prefer to sell it in its old - new condition without trying this cleaning method.
You can use this vintage grainsack in various ways. It can be used as a decorative wall hanging to add a touch of history to your room. You can also use it as a unique picnic blanket. When it comes to maintenance, if you notice some marks on it, you can wash it at 40C. Make sure to iron it while it's still a bit wet as this may help get rid of the marks. But keep in mind that we've never tried this ourselves and we're selling it in its original, old - new condition. So if you're okay with the marks, you might not need to clean it right away.
