L’as de la lecture 2 is designed to help children aged 5½ to 8½ read words that are more difficult to decode. The three decks of cards it includes address three challenges: reading complex letter groups (e.g., ouille, ien), reading letter groups often decoded in the wrong order (e.g., cor for cro and vice versa) and not pronouncing silent letters.
