After studying graphic design and working in advertising companies, German artist Birgit Tanck now works as a freelance illustrator and designer. A true northerner, she is often interested in ports, rivers and the sea, but she also knows the South: Her drawings are published in the ‘Hamburger Abendblatt’ as well as in the national newspaper ‘Süddeutsche Zeitung’.
